YVETTE MCQUEEN MD is a global physician on a mission to education about health, travel wellness and disease prevention. She is an Emergency Medicine physician and Travel Doctor; working as a physician across the US and the Caribbean. Dr. McQueen also serves as a travel group physician ensuring healthy and safe travel of the clients before and during the international trip. Dr. McQueen is a speaker, blogger, author, consultant, CPR and First Aid instructor; wilderness emergency care training and international teaching for the American Heart Association. She has traveled to 30+ international countries for exploring; organizes medical missions to Africa, hospital training/teaching in Rwanda and Tanzania; and participates in international church missions.
Dr. McQueen is originally from Cleveland, OH; she obtained her MD degree from Medical College of Ohio [Toledo] and Emergency Medicine Residency trained in Detroit, MI. She has 16+ years of experience as an Emergency Medicine physician, several US state medical licenses and a medical license in Malawi, East Africa. After initially working in academic centers, she became an independent contractor to combine her passion of medicine and travel as a Locum Tenens physician. Dr. McQueen is CEO of MedQueen LLC; a Travel Medicine physician for individuals, executives and travel groups; and provides travel medicine, urgent care and nutritional consultations by telemedicine. She travels around the US providing hospitals physician coverage in their Emergency Departments. As a Locums physician, it allows her time for her other interests in community health education, nutrition counseling, medical & spiritual international missions. She is involved with the Malawi Mission Project of Hopewell Church [Jacksonville, FL]; she organized their first medical mission providing eyeglasses, spiritual counseling, Women Health lectures and medical treatment to 1300+ villagers in Dowa, Malawi.

Monique Mondesir, MD is a Florida-based, board certified general pediatrician.
After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, she received her Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery at the University of the West Indies. About Dr. Arabia Mollette:
Born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y., Dr. Arabia Mollette grew up in a community within the South Bronx plagued with crime and poverty. When Dr. Mollette was 11 years old, she witnessed her mother’s attempt to commit suicide. At 17, she became a teen mom to a precious baby boy, whose life was tragically taken away at four months. Six years later, her youngest sister was shot and killed while riding in a friend’s car. During these times, she was advised by the physicians to become a doctor and her passion of caring for people to work.
Dr. Arabia applied and was later awarded a full scholarship to study medicine at the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba, and learned to speak Spanish fluently. After she successfully graduated from medical school, Mollette completed her residency as an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
Tragedies in Dr. Arabia’s life sparked a desire to make a difference in her community. She lives by the words ‘you are a fighter and you will make it.’ “It’s important for children in my community to have role models and I hope that I will be able to inspire and influence them just like other doctors inspired me.”

Cheryl Mensah, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell School of Medicine and Assistant Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Mensah is part of the Weill Cornell Hematology and Medical Oncology Non-Malignant Hematology Program. Dr. Mensah cares for patients with non-malignant hematologic diseases with a special interest in sickle cell disease and thalassemia.
Dr. Mensah received her undergraduate B.A. at Cornell University. Afterwards, she returned to Michigan to receive her M.D. at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She completed her internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship training at Northwell Health Zucker School of Medicine formerly Hofstra North Shore-Long Island Jewish School of Medicine.
During her training she won the Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Oncology Resident Travel Award. She was a member of the Long Island Jewish Sickle Cell Disease Task Force. This is a committee of hospitalists, primary care providers, and hematologists interested in improving the care of sickle cell disease patients at Long Island Jewish Hospital.
She is currently a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American College of Physicians-Internal Medicine.
