Dr. Lake earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky. Inspired by the need for compassionate care of women after their childbearing years and her love of vaginal surgery, Dr. Lake went on to complete her postgraduate residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UMass Memorial in Worcester, MA and sub-specialty fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at Yale School of Medicine. She is board-certified in both Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
