Dr. Bolanle Akinronbi
Biography
Bolanle Akinronbi M.D is an empathic psychiatrist and a great listener. She offers practical recommendations and treatment solutions that uses her knowledge of medicine while taking into account the multiple factors that affect a person’s wellness: biology, environment, diet, relationships and daily routine. Her treatment approach is dynamic, person centered and holistic. She believes that everyone can and should live as the best possible version of themselves in time. She encourages change but believes in meeting people exactly where they are in their journey. Treatment plans always include discussions about nutrition, exercise, and alternative wellness approaches such as yoga, meditation, aromatherapy etc This is done in a calm environment where you are empowered to live your life unbound and on your own terms.
​Education:
She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Rutgers University and her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as The Rutgers New Jersey Medical School). She completed post-graduate training at the Northwell Health Zucker Hillside Hospital in Queens, New York and is currently certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She had additional training in Perinatal Psychiatry.
Dr. Akinronbi continues to expand her knowledge as a practicing physician learning from patients, colleagues and keeping up to date with new information as they become available through educational conferences and publications.
