The Directory of Black Women Physicians

Hey there! I’m C.C. (my friends call me Cease for short).

I am a wife, a mother of three, and a board-certified family medicine physician.  Throughout my life, I’ve done everything from working as a radio DJ to working as a medical professor.  I am also a published author, a cookie artist, a DIY expert, a tattoo artist, a world traveler, a trivia buff, a social justice warrior, an event planner– you name it, I do it.

How does one find the time to raise children, cook healthy meals, maintain a clean house, balance a demanding career,  squeeze in an occasional vacation, not neglect friendship or marriage,  stay hydrated, AND still manage to shower every day? If you have the answer to that question, feel free to let me know– because as far as I’m concerned, ain’t nobody got time for that.

However, I do the best that I can, and I’m having fun doing it.

Over the years, I’ve become pretty good at this work-life balance thing, and I made this page to take y’all along with me on the journey.
