Dr. Okeigwe specializes in complex infertility care, uterine fibroids, PCOS, recurrent pregnancy loss, and fertility preservation. She has conducted both clinical and basic science research on uterine fibroids and continues to advocate for increased research to understand its pathogenesis and treatment. Her other areas of interests include: diversity and inclusion in healthcare, access to care, and improving medical education and training.

Outside of work, Dr. Okeigwe loves to spend time with her family, travel, savor a good meal, and attend plays and concerts.

When asked about her care philosophy, Dr. Okeigwe says: “My goal is to always provide compassionate, collaborative, evidence-based care. It is important to me to understand what my patients are feeling and thinking and work with them to form a treatment plan that not only optimizes their treatment success but also makes them feel comfortable and safe throughout the journey. I want my patients to know that when they entrust their care into my hands, I’m doing everything I can to see to it that their dreams of becoming a parent, whether that’s now or later, come true.”
